“We tend to greet hardship as an obstacle to overcome rather than as a path to peace.”
This past week has been a bit of a roller coaster ride. From deals falling through to the passing of a close friend due to a massive heart attack (he was only 38). I’ve been struggling to make sense of what feels like a senseless world. So much seems backwards in life and so many questions are left unanswered. The insightful Zen influenced words of Robert Rosenbaum on the Tao Te Ching has been my only solace, steering me back to the path of peace when at times it feels like I’m about to go over a cliff.
