Here’s “Hope”, the second completed drawing to the Dark Wing series. Just one more to go, which I am calling “Essence”. I’m hoping to have it finished some time later on this week. At the moment I feel myself in need of a brief break from doing series so I’ve been thinking of doing a few stand alone pieces. I’ve also been mulling over the idea of possibly adding short prose, quotes, very short fiction pieces or even song lyrics to accompany my drawings. I’ve have bits and pieces of stories and prose floating around in my head that I want to do something with so I figured maybe I could illustrate these stories and write them out on the back of the matte that my drawings are mounted to. It’s just a thought. Nothing definitive just yet but I’m open to here your thoughts on the idea. 😊

I am impressed that the stippling actually makes me want to touch my iPad for texture. I get the feel of your little works in progress and think a visit to Hope, Essence, and Power angels by a word faerie would be transformative. What will they bestow…blessings, cheer or little fables?
