Voodoufairy Series 2016

Well, I’m pleased to say that I’ve finished the final drawing to my Voodoufairy series. It’s been fun but I think I’m ready to move on now. A few lovely people have given me some suggestions for topics to tackle on my next series. I’ll be sorting over these ideas plus my own for a day or two before I start scribbling up something new. But for today, now that I’m finished, I’m going to throw some dogs and burgers on the grill and relax. (No offense to any vegans out there.) Spending my afternoon inking dreads and listening to Alina Barez. The final drawing to the Voodoufairy series is coming long nicely. Working on ideas for my next series. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to mention them in the comments.

I’ve completed the third drawing of my four part Voodoufairy series. Just one more to go. I’m hoping my Pigma Microns hold out for me. On this last one a few started to go dry but luckily I had some spares lying around. I’m sure after this next I’m be heading to Michael’s to get a new set, although, I’m wondering if buying some archival ink and using a dip pen would last longer. I’ll see some experiments coming up in the near future. 😊
